Thamsar Pass is one of the most alluring passes of Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh. The Pass connects the Chhota Bhangal to the Bara Bhangal village in Kangra valley. Thamsar pass is one of the very less explored trails of the region that takes you deeper into the ranges of Himalayas & offers untouched natural beauty & breathtaking views.
Itinerary
Day 1
Participants reporting & onboarding at Bir (10AM Morning)
Move to Rajgundha by cab (28kms)
Have Evening snack at campsite
Take a walk around the beautiful twin villages of Rajgundha & Kukkargundha
Overnight stay & dinner at Rajgundha
Day 2
Breakfast 9 AM
Gathering & Trek Briefing
Trek to Plachak (8kms approx)
Enjoy snacks on arriving while soaking up the beautiful views of Plachak Valley
Dinner & overnight stay at Plachak
Day 3
Trek to Panhartu after Breakfast (12km total)
Arrive Jhouddi Waterfall, Lunch at Jhouddi waterfall & Sightseeing
Quick Breakfast & Start early morning ascent to Attempt Pass (6:00 AM)
Summit Thamsar Pass (15,000ft)
Soak Breathtaking views from Pass (30-45mins)
Descend from pass
Lunch midway at Bhedpal (13,400 ft)
Descend back to Panhartu & overnight stay
Day 5
Trek from Panhartu to Plachak
Lunch at Plachak
Trek back to Rajgundha
Arrive Rajgundha
Overnight stay at Rajgundha Campsite
Day 6
Move to Bir by Cab after Morning Breakfast

— Bookings for fixed departure batch is only available online through our website.
— For multiple participants booking adjust the ‘Quantity’ on checkout. For eg : for booking a trek for two participants select the quantity as 2.
— Your bookings confirmation will shortly be sent over your E-mail & WhatsApp after successful payment.
— Online bookings for any fixed departure batch is not valid for foreign nationals. If you’re a participant outside india reach out to us on Email or WhatsApp before booking any online slot on fixed departure.
